Do I have to sell my home with Zown after?

No. You’re not required to sell your home with Zown. We previously had this requirement, but have since removed it to give you more flexibility and peace of mind.

How does Zown make money?

When you buy a home with Zown, the seller pays a 2.5% buyer-agent commission. We keep a portion and give you back the majority of it upfront to help with your down payment and closing costs.

Who qualifies for Zown’s Down Payment Boost?

Anyone looking to buy a home in Ontario can apply. Generally, you’ll need a personal or combined household income of at least $90,000 and more than $15,000 in savings to qualify.

Can the Down Payment Boost help me qualify for a mortgage?

Yes. Your Down Payment Boost can be included when determining how much you may qualify for, potentially increasing your purchasing power and the homes available to you.

Will this affect my credit score?

No. Checking your eligibility won’t affect your credit score. We only need your household income and savings to determine how much you may qualify for.

Does Zown work with pre-approved buyers?

Yes. If you’re already pre-approved, Zown can add to your available savings, potentially increasing your purchasing power and home-buying budget.
