The Learning Zown is written by Zown's in-house team: writers who explain things plainly, and licensed REALTORS® who make sure we are right. We publish under a team byline because these guides are a collective effort, and because the accountability that matters is the licensed reviewer named on every article.
Every guide starts from questions buyers actually ask our Homebuying Advisors, or type into a search box. Not from a keyword list.
Rates, thresholds and program rules trace to the government, CMHC or lender page they came from. The list appears at the bottom of the guide so you can check our work.
Nothing publishes without review by a RECO-registered member of our team. Their name, role and review date sit at the top of the page.
Zown makes money when people buy and sell homes with us. Where a guide touches a Zown product we say so, and we do not pretend other options do not exist. We do not issue mortgages and we never promise anyone a mortgage approval; banks and lenders decide that.
The updated date on a guide means a person checked it, not that a script touched the file.
We use AI tools for research and first drafts. Every guide is edited by a person and reviewed by a licensed agent before it publishes. We do not publish unreviewed generated text.
Our reviewer roster is being updated. In the meantime, every guide names the person who reviewed it at the top of the page.
If we get something wrong we fix it, note the change at the bottom of the guide, and update the date. Found an error? Email editorials@zown.ca.
